For more than 10 years STC has been working on behalf of its western customers (major tier 1’s) identifying and developing suppliers in China and Greater China on their behalf. STC has continued to work with these suppliers, helping them to improve, many of whom today are at a world-class level.
Now STC has decided to launch its Supplier Panel, the “STC SUPPLIER PANEL”, promoting these suppliers to other customers.
These new customers could be western based but also STC is looking to promote its supply base for the Chinese domestic aftermarket too.
Promoting these suppliers in this way, through its “SUPPLIER PANEL”, STC expects to help these suppliers grow further and to satisfy very precise and specific demands of new customers and to avoid work duplication and save time.
To satisfy greater demands from its current customers and new customers, STC will continue to develop its SUPPLIER PANEL.
- STC will support the customers, with their relationship with the SUPPLIER PANEL, helping in the resolution of problems, facilitating discussions and future development.
- STC will grow its SUPPLIER PANEL so that its customers are able to; dual source, introduce new product lines, expand geographically.
- STC will continue to work with these suppliers to help them improve further.
To enter the PANEL the Supplier must pass the STC Audit. This Audit differs from most in that besides understanding the performance of the supplier in the domain of Quality Organisation & Management it is structured to drive the supplier to improve and develop.
Successful Suppliers that become a member of the STC SUPPLIER PANEL will benefit from the support and expertise of the STC team. STC will regularly evaluate the Suppliers and coach the management teams in how to develop their company.
In particular for the domestic market in China, STC understands the need for not only “entry-level” products but also “Famous Brands”. STC is currently building up its offer of Famous Brands.
